Supporting Women's Health and Equity

The partnership and collaboration that was established through the CHIC-Ambo Global Health Initiative was able to achieve important accomplishments in the following areas:     

1. Facilitate global partnership and collaboration
2. Engage in capacity building and professional development
3. Improve access to health care
4. Support women's health and equity

With the goal of improving access to menstrual health and hygiene management resources among school girls and underserved women in Ethiopia,  CHIC organized the  ESETOCH/እሴቶች Menstrual Health Initiative. The Founder and Director of the organization travelled to Selale, Ethiopia and distributed the ESETOCH/ እሴቶች Package  to 300 girls and 17 teachers in Fitche Number 2 Secondary School.
